Ikan can generate preclinical models with:

  • Gram positive: Streptococcus equi, Streptococcus iniae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus
  • Gram negative: Acinetobacter baumanii, Enterococcus faecalis, Haemophilus influenzae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Moraxella catarrhalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa
